TANZANIA PARKS
“Safari” is a Swahili word originating in East Africa meaning a journey to the wild animals – a definition perfect for describing an East African safari, a region rich in wildlife. The fact is that there is no better place to enjoy the enriching, free moving wildlife experience than in Tanzania. The country’s game viewing experiences are widely regarded as the best in Africa.
On a Tanzania Safari, one will see endless herds of wildebeest and zebras migrating across the plains, followed by predator lion, leopard, cheetah, and hyena. Tanzania is also rich in other animals including the largest population of elephant in the world, rhinoceros, giraffe, monkeys and much more. One cannot forget a wide range of bird species residing in the wild and those species that have yet to be discovered!
Tanzania offers some of the world’s most diverse safari experiences, consisting of National Parks, game reserves, conservation areas and private concessions. However, these areas offer incredible game viewing and a range of safari activities such as boating/walking safaris and fly camping.
